Is there any information available on what the marketing budgets were for those films?

It's virtually impossible to get marketing figures. For a major motion picture, the average cost used to be in the $50M+ range, but that was several years ago, and the word was studios were trying to rein in those expenses. Maybe some nice person who works in a studio marketing department could give us some inside info...

In the abstract sense, I think each of these films represented "something we needed." Add talent and drive and support and execution...and what do you know...millions of dollars in ROI (to call back to another recent post).
