"DR. KING SCHULTZ: My good man, did you simply get carried away with your dramatic gesture, or are you pointing your weapon at me with lethal intention?" This line stood out to me in the movie and from that sentence on I couldn't help but wonder if he, Christoph Waltz, ad-libbed the dialogue or if Quentin literally wrote every word. No disrespect to Quentin's writing skills, he's beyond amazing, but shit!

Dr. King Schultz is like the Jedi samurai of polite warnings.

To the above - I know right? A perfectly Zen revolutionary. This post also how there are so many different kinds of arcs to characters, not all of them dramatic. Michael Arndt said the hardest arc for him to write in Little Miss Sunshine was that of Sheryl. Ultimately it was simply a case of her going from worrying about her family to not worrying. Still a strong arc and one that's pivotal to that story.
