Sean, huge congratulations on the Nicholl win, and more important, on arriving at this place you've just described for Scott and all of us...the "throne" of the storyteller. Yeah, that sounds pretentious as hell, and a throne isn't a writing desk, and it's at the writing desk where the work takes place, where the terror somehow transforms into magic, as you say, but... Hollywood needs to find its way back to once again honoring the value of the first original teller of the story, to genuflect before the throne. You make the case for that, brilliantly. Thank you!

Thank you so much Sean for highlighting the fact that storytellers from outside the country aren't even trying to break into a more global stage when in fact the Bollywood industry is testament that thousands, if not MILLIONS, of stories are told in South East Asia all the time. While I love the movies wherever they are from, I for one think it's time that a more global perspective is represented at the cineplex rather than just movies from the States. And thank you for being human and honest - it's expensive going to LA and you made it worth your time :-) It's not all a fairy-tale, there's rather human circumstances to take into account too.
