Hugleberry, thanks for that. That Lasseter quote about their process is completely true. At the end of January, I'll be teaching a week-long Pixar and the Craft of Storytelling course that digs into how they do what they do, including exclusive interview excerpts with the head of their story department, but the simple fact is on every single one of their projects, they have hit a point, sometimes many points, where they would look at each other and basically say, we are screwed. That's why Andrew Stanton's line about being wrong as fast as you can has become something of a mantra to them. If one of their movies takes 5 years to produce, 4 of those are spent working on story. Sounds like this article would make for a good blog post. Thanks again!
