Wow. Really great scene. I connected with him. And i can also see the relevance of that character, or at least his point of view. As I was reading it I thought about what Gatin's friends said and yeah it seemed a little unnecessary and long-winded but then you get to the end it made sense to me. I think this may have been his angle into the story, his personal voice coming through the plot, where it's not just a movie about a near plane crash, and the cover up behind that. It's about much more and now I want to see this film.
