This is a really useful post for me. The way I initially approached this is trying to accomplish 2/3 scenes per day - but judging from this post and how my own writing schedule has gone backward since, might be a bit too ambitious. Now I am trying to just accomplish 'pages' when I write a script rather than scenes and give some time for flexibility so I don't feel like a failure every time I don't achieve the goal set for the day. I also like to edit a lot as I work which also puts me desperately behind. Thanks Scott for this, has given me enough thought to reevaluate how I work.

Thanks for breaking down how you do your schedule. It really helps me understand how to not let items slip by. I think that my scheduling really needs to go on a daily and weekly basis. My brain has issues with getting too lofty when I try to plan a year in advance, which leads to laziness and procrastination. My focus will be on completing the 1,2,7,14 method each week and finding the time each day to work towards this. Perhaps once I can prove to myself that completing my weekly goals, I can set annual or quarterly deadlines for my 2013 goals.
