My current job requires a lot of my mental capacity sometimes leaving my mind drained at the end of the day. When I was doing writing or story prep in 2012 I found myself finding time during my lunch and rest breaks (about 1.5 hours a day). I found that this worked well when I was outlining and prepping a story, but when I was writing the script, I would regularly hit road blocks. Looking at my current time, I still want to utilize my breaks from work, but I also want to dedicate my mornings to writing. I recently bought a new laptop and plan to use it in the morning, before my mind gets drained from work. This will be done before I even get out of bed (no breakfast, bathroom breaks until I get some writing done). The main way of me finding time to write and balancing work, my wife, entertainment, and my horror film podcast is to look at those times where I am doing nothing goal related and ask the question, "Is there something writing related you can be doing right now instead?"
