After checking out the WGA nominations, I really surprised that Scandal didn't get its due recognition. I think it's the best show on television right now. Yes, Breaking Bad has recovered well from its crappy 3rd season, but Shonda Rhimes had an outstanding consistency with this show.

Re: the "Cancer Cure" story. It goes back to 2007. And Snopes.com has filtered through how the story has developed since then: Snopes on DCA Cancer Cure. (It's usually a good idea to check these sorts of stories on Snopes.)
