OMG, the amount of 'takeaways' in this reel is enormous. You see it all here, kids, the good and the bad. I don't think we, as screenwriters, need to scratch our heads anymore and wonder 'what makes these people tick?' It's ALL here! Completely demystified and laid out for us. Most importantly, I see these people as simply as human beings in a pressure cooker situation, making both good decisions and bad ones (BATTLESHIP, and deluding themselves into thinking it was a 'good' movie). All things being equal, would we be any different? My other takeaway? Hollywood execs don't eat their fruit, no matter how much you put in front of them. :D
