I would agree there are some major differences! Just watched the film for the first time while while also holding the script in my hands. In the script, they fade to black on p. 106. In the film, they fade to white. In Eastern cultures, that means death. Several key scenes in this story can be interpreted 2 or even 3 ways. Guess I have to go back now and reread the script. John A
