Frankenweenie is going to survive. John August has nothing to worry about. In two decades, it will be the only one of the top ten films of it's opening weekend that anyone still watches.

The movie has gotten solid to great reviews, currently with an 87 rating on Rotten Tomatoes [for example]. I expect it will do very, very well in VOD and ancillary platforms.
