Rob, I'm right there with you. One of my favorite defining examples of his creative genius is the knife fight in the rubble-filled apartment in France in SAVING PRIVATE RYAN. Of all the swordplay and knife play and blade slinging in all the movies in all the lands...he choreographs not only something we'd never seen before, but something that kicks the breath out of us, emotionally, without a single line of dialogue.
