I did crappy jobs for years while writing, and it is *hard*. Keep up the good work, though, because one day...

> Where can you find a group? There are also excellent online writing groups and groups specific to screenwriters. Just as with a real-life group, the trick with online groups is to cultivate social capital with other serious writers (by supporting them and writing quality reviews of their work) so that they will support you, and in general, you get back out of any writing group what you first put in. I have been a long-time member of Zoetrope.com and it has been an excellent place for me. (Michael Arndt workshopped Little Miss Sunshine there and, more recently, Nathan Zoebl got representation for a Zoetrope script after a fellow Zoetroper submitted it to Scriptshadow [with Nathan's permission].) I don't have first-hand experience with Triggerstreet, Circalit, or the other, newer screenwriting workshop sites, but hopefully other GITs readers can comment on them.

The Scriptwriter's Network maintains a list of writer's groups here, fyi: http://www.scriptwritersnetwork.org/writersgroup.html
