That's an interesting observation. We get so caught up with how we *should* do things that we forget we can create our own ways to convey things. As writers, we can take the audience anywhere - inside a frozen moment of time, inside someone's head, inside the surface of the sun. All we have to do is create the right screen language - and the right representation of time - to get our story across.

Agreed, Debbie. I don't know if you listen to the Scriptnotes podcast, but in one of their latest ones they covered some creative ways to write action. A good listen if you haven't yet. Was definitely helpful for me.

Yeah, that was a good podcast. Action scenes in particular seem to be about time and space...
