I remember this series from when you first ran it. I'd love to see more roundtables and panels like this in the future. I also hope one of them ran with your suggestion and wrote "The Afterparty"! The discussion of the importance of story concept was a pleasure to reread, and Scott Frazier makes great points in the comments, too. In the second part, there's a discussion about the importance of self-honesty and objectivity. Some people clearly find this easier than others. I'd love to know how GITS readers have cultivated their own objectivity, and Scott, if you've ever tried ways to encourage or cultivate objectivity in your students--and what sorts of things worked.
