"Favorite nonlinear movie?" First movie that comes to mind is Run Lola Run, written and directed by Tom Tykwer (more recently worked on Cloud Atlas, also nonlinear). So much fun, so much running, and the whole chance or destiny thing, all reasons it entertains so well.

Can we call "Groundhog Day" non-linear? For the protagonist time keeps moving forward, for everyone else it's just one day. Regardless of the approach to time the structure still needs to be there.

Obvious choice, maybe, but I'm going to go for Memento. Perfect combination of form and theme: the unusual structure of the movie is used perfectly to place us in the same situation as Leonard - with no idea what's happened previously. Very clever writing.

"Pulp Fiction" is my favorite nonlinear movie. (Although I'm also a huge "How to Make An American Quilt" and "Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind" fan.) The beauty of "Pulp" is that it ties three different plots together so beautifully that everything comes full circle suspensefully for a perfect denouement, kinda making Tarantino the set up/pay off master!

Pulp fiction. The craft of memento is amazing but I think Pulp fiction is a better movie.

Pulp Fiction for me too. I loved the way it was seamless, in that you saw Vincent Vega and thought "How?! Oh right, that hasn't happened yet. I get it. Neat!" Plus it's just a damn entertaining film.
