Would just like to note that Pride and Prejudice is being adapted by my friend and sometime collaborator STEPHEN Reynolds (no relation to the writer/director SCOTT Reynolds). I've read the first 40 pages and it's a cracking take, very fresh and faithful to the spirit of the book, without being hamstrung by an excess of reverence.
