My favorite pen is the Uni-ball 207. I like it because the ink resists washing, so no one can alter a check I write.

I used to write short stories out by hand when I was younger, but my hands began cramping in my early adulthood. Now I type out a first draft on my laptop, start to finish, print it out, and begin revising. I use whatever is handy - but my favorite is a number two pencil. I love a sharp point and a new eraser.

Pentel Energel 0.7mm needle tip blue. Best pen ever. I make notes during the day at work on whatever I'm writing and then type them up at night. Helps me get back into the "zone" of that project.

I've never settled on any one pen. Like you, Scott, I need ink that flows smoothly, but unlike you I find thin points help me write faster. How interesting!

I have to write with a pen with a .25 needle tip. My favorite is Pigma Micron 01 in purple.
