Food for thought. BTTF was turned down by all major studios, even with a young Spielberg backing it. It wasn't until Zemeckis had a huge hit with Romancing the Stone that they actually wanted to script. To which he gave it to Spielberg to produce. I'd imagine his meetings prior to that went EXACTLY as depicted. #funnycauseitstrue I've personally had meetings like this. And then there's the opposite as well. Where they love your movie, raving about the Doc Brown pedophile, incestuous mommy love version. It's great! So edgy, don't change a thing! We're shooting it as is! That whole mommy/son relationship, climaxing with rape -- we'll get way up in there! It'll be the next Crying Game! Luv it!
