Calvin, the thing is I offered a free Core or Concept class to people for the recent "Quest" challenge figuring that might motivate a couple hundred people to submit loglines. Turned out to be 1500! But I'm working my way through that commitment to give each of them the opportunity to take a free 1-week class with me or receive the lectures as an equivalent. Of course, you could opt to take the class. I will be doing "The Quest" initiative again for winter 2013 and I'll probably have some sort of giveaway with that, not sure what.

The complimentary enrollments in the Core II: Concept class are now filled. If you submitted at least one logline to The Quest and would prefer the lectures in lieu of waiting to take another Core or Concept class, please email me. On the other hand, I highly recommend the class as I'm not sure there is a better, more thorough resource available about generating, developing and assessing story concepts. I have spent 25+ years as a writer coming up with story ideas, and a decade on the other end assessing them as a teacher and mentor. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to write scripts based on a good concepts, and to get in the habit of developing story concepts. Key to success as a writer.
