> AP: I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE WOMEN, both as characters and on the title page Yay, Amanda! Thank you for that. I've worked with women writers who've internalized so much sexism that it doesn't occur to THEM to write women characters, because they think that if they do, their scripts won't sell. And they're women! We all need to hear this, frequently and loudly, even and maybe especially women writers. You can't say it often enough for my taste. Thanks again. PS On a related note, I know Zuul has written several times on his blog how rape and torture porn aren't sexy or cool. Thanks very much, Zuul--that's another big fight, and I appreciate that you're on the case.

Dear Amanda, We have written a RomCom that features a strong woman Protagonist. The script is from her POV. She is funny. She represents one of the BRICS countries. We're thinking of approaching a well known actress to attach to it. Would you be interested in reading our screenplay? Thank you. Sincerely, John A + Joan A ps: Scott taught us how to write these letters :-)
