This is definitely a real thing. I once attended one years ago -- as a date of someone who knew the uninterested parties. That was awkward. I have a short script about the experience languishing on my hard drive somewhere. But kudos to Millwala (and Thangamani) for going the comedy route and getting the sale. I will definitely look forward to this hitting production.

"Bridesmaids meets There is Something About Mary" This kind of cracks me up. From reading the logline, you KNOW Bridesmaids is going to be part of the "MEETS" formula (In fact, I expect the overwhelming majority of current RomCom and female driven Comedies to be some form of Bridesmaids MEETS something). I find it funny they paired a divorce comedy with There's Something About Mary. I have ZERO idea what this part adds.
