Great post, Jason. I was talking about the movie not long ago in a discussion with a writer friend about Erotic Thrillers. We had a whole spate of them around the time Fatal Attraction came out, and since then they've faded away. I wonder if the market isn't ready for a revival of this subgenre. Also, your post has me thinking: are there any erotic thrillers out there in the vein of Fatal Attraction where the lover is male and the protagonist is female--that stays erotic thriller and doesn't turn into a stalker horror movie instead?
