Debbie, yet another example that contradicts the supposed "rule" that we can't write unfilmmable scene description. Yes, it's a script from a writer-director so one could say Crowe has more latitude in this respect, however there are plenty of screenplays by professional screenwriters, not directors, which write 'unfilmmable' SD multiple times per script. Just gave me an idea: One week, why don't we Take A Stake To Screenwriting Rules? Pick 5-7 of these supposed "rules," source examples where professional screenwriters 'break' those rules, then ram a metaphorical stake into that 'rule''s metaphorical heart?
