Radically different. Makes me wonder if this wasn't from an early draft of the script. I also find it interesting that they include some elements from the graphic novel (introducing the leader soon and more prominently) as well as Fate, the super computer. I reread this section from comic to see what was different. It's much later in the story, briefer, and the dialogue takes a different tone. I actually prefer the words in the graphic novel the most (V talks about firing the citizens for their poor performance), the film comes in 2nd, and the script pages above a distant third. Did they bring someone in to fix up the script? Because the finished product is not nearly as flat as the lines above.
