What fun work! Esp love The French Connection piece, the frenetic feel of the cuts seems particularly well suited to the movie. And, like you with your Daily Dialogue post, Scott, Loren is kind enough to include interesting trivia. So learned chase scene shot at 18 frames per second, a clever and innovative solution in 1971.
I love when folks play with time. With CGI, our expectations are evolving, and messing with the audience gets more challenging in some ways, but playing with gravity and time will likely always remain effective.
