PIERRE, PIERRE sold? Somehow I missed that when it happened. 72 was released as 50/50

Still waiting for someone to make Winter's Discontent. Great script, easy to stunt cast, and as per one of Scott's recent posts there's definitely a market for movies aimed at a more senior demographic. Heard great things about Roundtable but never managed to get hold of a copy. A lot of off-the-wall concepts on show here that sound like a fun read, though not necessarily viable as actual movies. Lobo sounds so ludicrous I'd love to see it, likewise Animals, The Harvard Zombie Massacre, Bobism. No shortage of original ideas out there if writers are prepared to be inventive enough.

What's interesting is to look at where the strikes are. '88 -- followed by a massive dip in sales. And then in '94 - '98 seeing a spike. '08 -- followed by a massive dip in sales. And starting to see a spike this year (1/2 way through the year @ ~70 sales). Definitely, recovered faster than the previous strike.

Roundtable is my favorite of this year's specs. I kinda hope that one comes around...

I like the concept and logline of Arena. Not sure if it ever went to production or not. Sounds like a pseudo-Hunger Games, but even more gruesome and noteworthy.

12 was released as The BackUp Plan with Jennifer Lopez.
