I really loved the first one. The first 20 minutes was all set-up. You saw how much he loved his kid. Even on a job, he asks for an opportunity for his daughter. You saw how he just couldn't compete with his wife and her new rich boyfriend. I love Luc Besson flicks. Haven't seen the new one though. The space station prison one. That one sounds outlandish, but he can probably pull it off. I think on one level they are milking this franchise, but I don't mind. I'd be curious as to what they would do for a third, though. Who else is left to be taken? Maybe if Famke Jannsen has a baby. I like how they kept the signature elements of the first movie though: Liam, someone taken, the cellphone call, and bad guys being killed. Tremendous. Also, Liam Neeson is 60!

First off, if you know your dad's an international bad-azz, why would you EVER think to try to Surprise him?!?!?! Second, I can buy that they'd take his wife, but his daughter too...again?!?!? Somebody's staying at home next trip.

BATMAN BEGINS actors reunited. Ducard and the Homeless Man who gets Bruce Wayne's, "nice coat." Looks awesome. Love kick-assers.

Blue Night, this was my same issue with the TV series "24". After the first season, I said, 'How the hell are they going to reprise this?' I imagined that V.O. intro: "My name is Jack Bauer. This is the second worst day of my life." Once again, I was proven wrong.

Oh, c'mon. Season 2 is where Jack cuts off some guy's HEAD in the first couple of episodes. THAT trumps everything. "My name is Jack Bauer. Please, fuck with me." But seasons later, when Tony was brought back to life -- Shark Jumpin' time. Man, I miss that show (even after it jumped, and Starbuck was turned into a wimp).
