A great example of how some of the best dialogue is people saying things that are not in their own best interests. Zukerberg should just shut up, but he can't help himself - and that tell us so much about him...

Debbie, that is spot on. Interesting, too, for a screenwriter. We generally think "less is more," but in the case of someone with an inflated yet fragile ego, their own instincts take over and can say too much, best defense is a good offense sort of thing.

And here's where the word "likable" fails miserably. Rhetorical question: As an audience member, does Mark's response endear you to his character or repel you? For me, his response makes me LIKE HIM! It's not a "likeable" response. He's clearly being an asshole. Everyone is responding to him like he is being an asshole (cause he is). But that ATTRACTS me to his character and gets me rooting for him. I root for the guy getting crapped on by the legal system who has the balls to call them on some serious bullshit. And also a guy that is smart enough to work his way out of a trap.

On the other hand, Gage's dialogue is terrible and only serves to showcase Zuckerberg. He's practically begging to be smacked down.
