If you wanted to come at this a different way, maybe the daughter blackmails her own parents? "Sure, I'll come home, but you have to give me money - and drugs - and let me live how I want, or I'll tell the police you killed my pimp?" So the daughter's running wild round their nice little home town, sleeping around and getting arrested while drunk, while they have to drive to the city and buy her drugs etc... How would this resolve itself? Would they get desperate enough to turn on their own daughter...?

Ok, here is my adaptation of the pimp story, entitled SWEET DADDY JASPER.... (both the pimp and the father are named Jasper - neat, huh?) It would more or less follow the article up to a point, and rips off Scott's concept a bit too. Daughter runs away to hook on the streets. This irritates her parents, who try to bring her back through legal means, to no avail. Finally, at the end of their ropes and a la IN THE BEDROOM, they plot to kill their daughter's pimp. They come at him once - the father takes a shot at him - and are unsuccessful. The second attempts works, because the mother is the one who pulls the trigger, counter to the pimp's expectations. While they're bringing their daughter back home, they're attacked - by the pimp's main hooker who runs the other hookers, the "wife." Both "wifey" and the father are killed. Now the mother and daughter are on the run - from a stable of angry, gun-toting hookers. The daughter actually wants to return to the fold, but the hookers now want their former sister dead. Hilarity ensues.
