Just getting back online (a storm cut power...). I think the dialog is excellent. As far as I can tell it is substantially that of Cormac McCarthy, though the Coen Brothers do write some of their own (which are great). To me the "voice" of Bell, the key character IMHO, sounds authentic and help lends a sense of honesty and truth to his role. As I suggested in an earlier post, the honesty of Bell, contrasted with the greed of Moss and the (psychotic) desire retribution of Chigurh is an important element in the plot.
