Weird – I was only just thinking about this story this very morn. Always makes me smile. Did you still have that deposit slip?

Good thing you didn't write a new one! This is probably my favorite TBOS post ever! I remember being so inspired when I read it last year. Not because I am greedy haha, because it's proof it can happen.

Moments like that makes this whole journey seem worthwhile. That perfect moment when time stands still, and you know you did everything right. When you lose your virginity. When you score the winning goal in the "most important game of your life". When you finally get that "pad on the back" from your dad. When you graduate from college. When your first child is born. When you finally get that first big paycheck, knowing your life has changed forever. Those are the moments we live our life for. The moments that takes our breath away. Thank you Scott for sharing. I’m sure I missed a lot of "big-life-moments" – Feel free to put in more!

I love this story so much! It's definitely inspiring. I was paid for a script for the first time last summer. It was just three figures, but it meant so much to me. I asked the cashier if she could somehow void the check and give it back to me. She gave me the strangest look - I think she thought I was going to try to cash it again - until I managed to explain to her the emotional significance of that tiny piece of paper. She still didn't let me keep it.

Wow, this is wonderful! Inspiring! But, Scot...seriously...YOU DEPOSITED THE CHECK IN AN ATM??????? Lol. I would have been inside that bank watching the teller's every move.
