Looks 10x better than I'd pictured it. Cracking trailer. Still not sure it's the right sort of material to turn into a film though.

As little as 10 years ago, "The Great Gatsby in 3D" would sound like the punchline to a joke on the Simpsons. With technology's ability to make startling visuals and cityscapes, though, it looks like it might actually make sense.

This is a great novel. Also made for a really amazing theatre performance called Gatz. A Baz Luhrmann movie, though? Ehhhhh....

I can't say it any better than writer and comedian Frank Conniff: It's really annoying when people make noise during movies in theaters. I was in a theater the other day and it was very distracting. They were showing a trailer for the upcoming Great Gatsby movie and it was completely drowned out by the sound of the director of the movie pissing on F. Scott Fitzgerald's grave.
