I have to say, I was incredibly skeptical of all the Lena-love from Tiny Furniture. I believe I said as much on one of those previous posts. But then I got around to watching Tiny Furniture, and I think Lena did manage to capture some essence post-grad life. I could see why people were calling her 'the voice of her generation' -- not necessarily the voice of what is typically a 'generation,' the voice every person in her age/socioeconomic bracket, but she definitely has a unique and powerful voice. I don't have HBO myself, but I have carefully aligned myself with people who do, and I'll definitely be giving GIRLS a chance.
