This intuition research is very interesting. I remember reading some research that hypothesizes that information from the near future actually travels back into the past, and that information is perceptible: hence intuition. And the bigger the event, the bigger the perception. A romantic comedy take would be really fun to see. Maybe a military/neurology researcher who's always letting his significant other down, missing birthdays, getting the wrong gift, misreading conversations, decides to use his intuition research to his own advantage and becomes the perfect boyfriend. And to comedic effect, no one wants the perfect partner. How annoying would that be! So he's got to throttle his power without revealing the source of his new found relationship prowess. I can picture some funny couples counseling scenes. The intuition premise reminds me of that Nick Cage movie Next, where his character could see the future. I'd go back down that well, but focus on a protagonist who is unwitting the subject of a intuition experiment, and uses his new powers of perception to track down who gave him this gift and curse.

I think it could be a really fun comedy premise: A dude with the ability to spot the punchline of every joke before a comedian delivers it and becomes ... THE HECKLER FROM HELL! After ruining gigs all over the country (as well as ruining his chances with his potential love interest), he realises that it's actually no fun and ends up with a unique way to put his skills to good use. OR maybe it's a family 'out of the bottle' comedy 'No surprises' - about a kid who is desperate to know what (s)he's getting for christmas ... then gets the ability to guess every surprise before it happens. It's every kid's dream, but ends up - of course - being a nightmare!

I'd go for something gritty, maybe in the style of Drive: a man with the ability to see 2 minutes into the future is forced to work for the LA crime boss holding his daughter hostage, while trying to escape the clutches of an enforcer working for the targeted Las Vegas casino, which is owned by a rival gangster.

The idea for the series "Medium" began with a real person. When I learned about the series I was intrigued, because I have an old friend who is a professional psychic in small town, whose involvement with police was interesting. Someone in hoe local police force called her in to help with a difficult case. While most on the force were skeptical at first, they became convinced of her legitimacy, including the Chief who later married her. I watched several episodes of "Medium" and liked the fact that Allyson was portrayed as struggling with her gift. Some parts seem realistic but there are definite departures from reality.

I think I'd like to work with a traditionally trained medicine person on this theme and draw from his life both on and off the res.

Interesting premise. I'd like to go into the world of Push, a bit later, with the Dakota Fanning character not being hired by the USN to battle bad guys (the "Division"). As one of the subplots, I'd like an extremely realistic Navy drama being played out (eg, a by-the-book court-martial or a Navy officer going through a divorce or a pregnancy or struggling with bills or ...) to balance it with a grounded side. And Dakota Fanning wins in the end:-)
