Hey Scott and GITS. Still here, learning and getting inspired daily. Over the last 3 years I've been using the GITS Resource and my reading/writing abilities have grown immeasurably. Can't wait to mention GITS at an award acceptance speech. hehe. And I'm a fan of script to screen. Quick little script reads along with the film clip is always a quick lesson on how scripts translate to film via the filmmaker's eyes.

I've been here for a loooooong time but wanted to say thanks for reposting the Dumb Little Writing Tricks That Work. Untwist my way out of the second act. Also, thanks for the juju!!!

Hey Scott, hope you and your family enjoy your weekend. * Scene Description Spotlight series would be a nice thing for us newcomers. * Well i thought that with Google+ the GITS site would have moved and become a "circle" (the new thing on google+) That would have made the GITS experience much better, because then we, the readers could start to interact as well. Hey Scott - I love the Script to Screen, and I think it is really useful to me as a writer. Because you see, by what was changed when it was at filming, what things didn't work and what things were missing. I have noticed that few people comment on them. I have been absent from the site this year because of pressing deadlines - but I expect to be participating more regularly again by April. Also, echoing Pliny the Elder - yes, I do have concerns about Google's growing evilness. I am barely ever logging in to it any more because of their new privacy policy. Is there another way that you can enable commenting that would not require signing in to Google? I'm barely logging in to Google at all now, and when I do I sign out immediately. I am surprised to see that I did not have to log in to comment here just now, even though I KNOW I logged out last time I commented, 2 or so days ago - I wonder if somehow they are keeping me logged in even when I log out. Hello Scott, I'm completely new to the site and I was shocked I'd never been here before. So much great information! I'd love an RSS feed though :(. I'm a filmmaker in Winston-Salem, NC and I'm one of those guys that starts scripts and writes thirty-forty pages in then starts another one. My New Years resolution was to finish one and I started posting it online. My goal was one page a day and I'm happy to say I'm ahead of schedule and I just posted my 85th page with only two scenes left to write and then it's on to the re-writes. If anyone is interested in reading, please go here. Anyways, thanks again for such a great useful site with so many tips. I especially like the stuff with spec sales. I like to stay informed.

I've been following GITS since I found it in November, and now I've sort of reached a point where each day begins with a visit here. :) I'm in India, and have shifted focus from short fiction back to screenwriting and am enjoying it immensely!
