Except for the cheezy fraternity handshake I got sucked into this. I will catch this eventually. Does this strategy tend to work, releasing the first 10 min or so? I saw this in the Dawn of the Dead remake. Does it really increase ticket sales? Or is it to advertise with the hopes that folks will share via social networking? I suppose it's a cheaper way to advertise. It's a tall order to ask people for 10 min of their time, even with our already short attention span. Maybe because it sucked you in within the first min or so and then of course it cuts out at a cliff hanger. That's definitely the key. Plus you're getting a peak inside a world you normally don't get to see, a cult. It's like Slumdog Millionaire, we get to see the Slums of India from the safety of our theater chair and it's fascinating. Now I'm just rambling.
