Lol! Get to the end of this clip and Youtube suggests a link to a video of a cat invading the Anfield pitch during a recent Liverpool match. Well, it did for me.

The Anfield Cat had its own Twitter account within minutes of the event, and reportedly by the end of the game had over 5,000 followers.

Quality! Just goes to show what can happen when you've got around 40,000 people in the same place. I imagine some bright spark created the account then spread the word through the crowd by Bluetooth (next time you're at a match - be it football, baseball, basketball - check your phone to see how many people have got their Bluetooth set to visible. There will be thousands. Gives me an idea. Perhaps I should shoot a football related film, then get one person going to each match being played on any given Saturday and get them to Bluetooth a message advertising said flick to the crowd. Talk about reaching your target audience!
