Apart from all the incredible insight here, I would like to point out that two years ago I also lived in a 2-bedroom 6th floor walkup on 44th between 9th and 10th. Unfortunately, my rent was NOT $375 a month. Thank you for sharing your story, Stan -- it sounds like an incredible journey so far!

Stan Chervin was an incredibly likeable fellow during our CAL days, and it was clear he was headed to a huge acting career. who knew it would be something [even] more cerebral (writing)? but it was clear that if brains matter, Stanley was headed for the stars. fantastic!
