My 13 yo just bought an iPad2 (lots of babysitting/dogsitting gigs) many of her texts are online and yet the darn things aren't allowed at school. I think it's just a matter of time and as the Borg say, "Resistance is futile."

I use an ipad a lot, but I'm still PC for everything else since I'm not ready to throw down the probably 3k it will take to recreate what I have. But I'm getting close. Scott-- are you happy you switched? Any issues. Give us your experience with this move. Also, I started reading my scripts and others on the ipad in pdf form using the iAnnotate app. Awesome. You can mark it up with a stylus or your finger, type in text boxes, highlight, even record audio notes at any given spot on the page. I tried J. Augusts FDX Reader but you can't note up the script so worthless for my application. I used to print my scripts, sit and read them and mark them up. I haven't printed a script since the I got iAnnotate for my ipad. It still sucks to read in daylight. The glare is still an issue. Other than that...golden.

I like my MacBook Pro, not head over heels in love with it. I was having issues with it until I switched browsers from Safari to Firefox. I like the iPad, especially since I can read the New Yorker on it when head back and forth to my office, but I still haven't found much use for it, kind of like a toy. I love my iPhone, complete unadulterated hug-fest with that. Re scripts: I read them as PDFs now, too, and annotate. I have horrible handwriting and I'm a much faster typist, so that not only saves the environment, it also saves time.
