Happy New Year everyone! To glorious stories in 2012, for us all, and huge cheers for GITS (thank you, Scott!). And yay 2011's over. Thought two hour earlier start at new school would be biggest challenge, small potatoes after tragedy slam late 2010, then 2011 began with double slam, and pile kept growing, including hurricane, earthquake, huge trees coming down, happily one tragedy averted, legal and insurance heck still ensnares, apparently forever. Has made me acutely aware of potential scale of drama that can happen in real life, so pile it on in stories too, just make it a whole less tedious and tragic than real life. Maybe about a snail in sneakers: Funniest folk of 2011 via huffpost, yay Chris Hardwick made it, and who knew a snail could be so engaging.
