It's a shame that Martin, in his later years, became such a "serious" performer because THIS was him at the height of his genius. Don't get me wrong, I dig stuff like LA Story, Shopgirl, etc. but this and the grossly underrated The Man With Two Brains are my absolute favorites. Nobody really hits this level of absurdity and irreverence in film anymore. Oh and completely off topic but check out Steve's bluegrass work with a group called The Steep Canyon Rangers... delightful stuff!
