I've taken several fascinating and bizarre classes at Portland State University. Twice I've taken "Graphic Novel" taught by Brian Michael Bendis where we had guest speakers from the industry and made webcomics as well as a 22-page final comic book. Last term I took a physics class called "Wacky or Real?" and a Chiron (student taught) class called "Role-Playing Games as Literature".

Awesome. The graphic novel course sounds great. I had a student last semester who took a course on food. It consisted of weekly meals prepared by the instructor, and wine, from all over the world, part of a whole cultural studies thing. Where was that course when I was in college!
