AHHHHHHHHHHH! Scott, it's like a dagger in my heart! If a person wants to text, there is the lobby. Or just watch something at home. Actually now I'm even more excited about same day release of movies in theaters and VOD to keep texters and their thumbs in the privacy of their own homes.

Fantastic - also the most accurate subtitles as reflection of what's genuinely being said that I've ever seen. Texting is the big curse UK-side too, I once threw my own dear friends phone into the aisle, because not only was he texting but he still had the keypad tones on - actually I take that back, he's no dear friend at all. Although an old timer I work with is mad into classic films, and he remembers attending a cinema in Brighton in the 70s (I think he said the film was Marathon Man), in which an elderly gent kept on talking all the way through. My friend lost his temper, not once, not twice but three times and the senior citizen wouldn't be quiet. So he went and told the cinema staff, who after some awkward whispering DIDN'T say anything. My friend was fuming, until the staff went over to the elderly gent after the film and said 'we're so grateful that you could attend Sir Laurence'. Don't know what the moral of that story is - be careful whom you tell to be quiet in the cinema, because they might be Laurence Olivier?
