Sadly I couldn't find a clip but Barry Levinson's second part of his Baltimore Trilogy, "AVALON," uses Thanksgiving as a thread to tie in the passage of time within the Kirchinsky family. The great Lou Jacobi has the key line... when he arrives tardy, as he does every year for Thanksgiving... in shock and horror... "You CUT the TURKEY?! WE LEAVE!!" Here's the first few minutes of the film via YouTube. It didn't get much play when it first came out and I fear it's been kind of forgotten with time but it's, in my opinion, of the greatest films of our time. At the least, it gets the heart of what it means to be American. http://youtu.be/8vWKJbQT06o Happy Thanksgiving, my GITS friends! May the coming year yield preposterous success to you all!

Jeff, I have tried to find that clip for years. In fact, that scene came up at dinner tonight. Classic Thanksgiving scene from a movie. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
