Hi, I am an Independent Writer/Director /Producer. We have completed 4 short films and finished production of our 5th one which is actually a feature concept, we only shot first 10 minutes of the project. It is actually in the post production right now but we will be posting it next time when we get the opportunity to share our stuff. Hey Scott! I don't know how I missed series before, but here I am now! Here is a short film I directed for a class in the spring of 2010. It's called Ante Up. Ante Up centers around the life of Todd. Todd is a high school math teacher who is great with numbers, but bad with woman. After losing a hang of poker to one of his buddies, he is forced to ask out Chelsea, the girl of his dreams. My senior project from Wayne State University. I was one of 3 people chosen to write/direct their projects out of about 16. Mine is called DAYDREAMER. Thank you Scott. This was the first film I made with the knowledge and purpose that I wanted to be a director. So I wrote about what I knew, medicine. But it wasn't until after I completed the script that I saw it was about the relationship between Elizabeth and her grandmother. Might be a bit provincial for your stateside readership, but here’s a short film I wrote and my friend directed. A rom-com set in an English sex shop. It’s the first one we made and is a little rough round the edges. We begged and borrowed (no stealing) and it cost about $400 all in. There are definitely a few things we’d change if we did it again. Scott, Here is a short film my brother and I directed recently called "Saved By The Belding" and stars some old cast members from "Saved By The Bell". My brother and I worked for the past year and a half making connections in Los Angeles from Austin, TX. We finally flew out there with a group of friends last summer and shot the movie of the course of three days. So far it has been featured on the front page on Dailymotion.com and has been highly praised by former SNL cast member, Horatio Sanz. The film stars Dennis Haskins (Saved By The Bell) and Ed Blatchford (Last Of The Mohicans). You talk a lot about this on your site but I think this shows a good example of how you don't how to live in Los Angeles but just have the right connections. Hope you and everyone else enjoys it.
