Scott, Any idea what the record is for most specs sold in a year? Curious. Keep Writing!

Just read this script last night, and it's not hard to see why it sold. Action-packed, professional execution, some nice (and simple!) character moments to give it a bit of depth...all in 94 pages. Oooh, and there are even pictures that show he's not making up what a tornado is capable of (i.e., the tornado that sucks up the gasoline and catches fire is AWESOME). Congrats, John!

Mike, I'm going back through my files I've kept on spec script sales since 1991. I will be doing an overview of each year's sales numbers in November (I hope) to give us some perspective. I seem to remember a few years where spec script sales were over 120, maybe one even higher. Don't quote me on that. More later.
