In a word, I think the theme in TS3 is Love, in its many different forms.

Again, sorry I can't invest much time here (unstuck and back to writing), so here's a list of the themes I can recall right now: Destiny/fate/the future - love/family/what matters most/ being there for the people we love - making decisions/choices – first impressions vs. gut feeling – letting go/saying goodbye – expecting and accepting change - … Oh, and: Better the devil you know than the devil you don't know (Attic better than day care, hell better than garbage truck)
