I love how he says " I’m gonna kill you, Gal", then immediately says "I’m gonna fucking kill him.", in third person. Gal's not a person to him at that point, just an obstacle he has to get rid of.

Use of third person in dialogue, the objectifying of a human. Remember Buffalo Bill to Catherine Martin in "The Silence of the Lambs": "It puts the lotion on its skin." Evidently serial killers will do this to dehumanize their victims.
