God I love creatives, so thoughtful and observant, always the most interesting company at parties. (Watched Dr. Who last night, William Shakespeare episode, writer Gareth Roberts had Shakespeare observe details about Doc and Martha others hadn't noted, accurately reflective of a brilliant creative, wonderful moment.) And I learned a word! Concatenation, "a series of interconnected events," though according to freedictionary I should have known it, Louisa May Alcott used it in Little Women (great series, and vocabulary, yay creatives!). That lengthy post you did was fabulous, Scott, and I look forward to the audio interviews. May Arndt's success continue unabated, so that we might continue getting awesome heart-filled entertainment.

I concur, Atlanta. I think it's safe to say that writers have to be curious. That curiosity leads them into all sorts of learning and knowledge. Back in the day when there was the WGABBS, a very early online bulletin board for WGA members, there was a Research forum. I swear if you posted this type of question -- "What colors were the license plates of Mississippi state troopers in 1939" -- within a half-hour, a writer would have that information posted for you. Writers are like that. They just know all sorts of stuff. I'd love to interview Arndt. Obviously a hugely talented writer. Also as the video suggests -- and from what I hear -- he is just a terrific guy.
